Job Description: Elevator Maintenance Engineer

As an Elevator Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and related equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
3. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty parts to ensure proper functioning of elevators.
4. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize elevator reliability.
5. Respond promptly to service calls and address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and service performed.
7. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.
8. Stay updated with industry advancements and safety regulations related to elevator maintenance.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or apprentices, if required.
10. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
2. Proven experience as an Elevator Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a high-rise building or commercial environment.
3. Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and associated safety regulations.
4. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
5. Familiarity with elevator control systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
8. Willingness to work in the Netherlands and adapt to local work practices and regulations.
9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
10. Certifications or licenses related to elevator maintenance will be considered a plus.
