We seek a highly skilled and versatile all-around electrician to join our team. As an all-round electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties. This includes everything from rewiring and upgrading electrical systems to troubleshooting and repairing faults. The ideal candidate will know the latest electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures. You will need to be comfortable working independently and collaborating with other tradespeople and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this role, as you may work in various environments and be required to solve complex problems on the job.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Ensure that all electrical installations comply with safety standards and building codes.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Provide timely and efficient service to clients, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning after installation or repair.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on multi-disciplinary projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician in both residential and commercial settings.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
