Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to work on installing various electrical systems in buildings, ranging from lighting systems to power supply networks and control systems. You will install electrical components, wiring, and equipment according to design specifications and technical drawings. In this role, attention to detail is crucial, as you will ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and safety codes. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects. The ideal candidate has a background in various electrical installations, including low-voltage systems, and can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Follow technical blueprints and electrical schematics for installations.
- Ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards.
- Test and inspect electrical systems after installation to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other contractors and tradespeople to coordinate project timelines.
- Perform upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems.
- Keep accurate records of installations and any modifications.
- Provide input on the selection of materials and equipment for installations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrical installation technician.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installations.
