Job Description:
We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, and repair systems operating at less than 1,000 volts. You will work on various low-voltage systems, including lighting, communications, data networks, and security systems. This role requires precision and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of low-voltage systems. You will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and are performed following technical specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential, as is experience with various low-voltage systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain low-voltage electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Set up data networks, communication systems, and security systems.
- Test and troubleshoot low-voltage systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure compliance with all local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on low-voltage systems.
- Maintain records of installations and maintenance work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in low-voltage systems.
Requirements:
