Job Description:
We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Electrician to ensure the continuous operation of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect electrical systems, and respond to breakdowns and emergencies. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems comply with safety standards and function optimally to minimize disruptions to operations. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to adapt to different work environments. The ideal candidate is experienced in maintaining a wide range of electrical systems and is dedicated to ensuring operational safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical components for safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and records of inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical safety standards.
- Perform regular safety checks on electrical systems.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and resolve them promptly.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and tradespeople on larger projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance electrician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant electrical certifications and licenses.
