Job Description:
We seek an experienced Residential Electrician to work on new construction projects and renovations in residential settings. You will be responsible for installing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, electrical panels, and outlets while ensuring that all work complies with local building codes. In renovation projects, you will also be tasked with upgrading existing systems to meet modern safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate is familiar with traditional and modern electrical systems, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can work efficiently in various environments. You will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality electrical work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical wiring, panels, lighting, and outlets in new construction and renovation projects.
- Upgrade and retrofit existing electrical systems in older buildings.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams for residential projects.
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers to deliver projects on time.
- Inspect electrical systems and provide recommendations for upgrades.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems after installation.
- Provide clients with information on maintaining their electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a residential electrician.
- Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems in new construction and renovations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with local building codes and electrical safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant electrical certifications and licenses.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
