Job Description: Hardware Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join a dynamic team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing innovative hardware solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective hardware products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating cutting-edge technology. This position is open to candidates from Asia who are interested in relocating to the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop hardware systems, including circuit boards, components, and peripherals, to meet project requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the viability of hardware solutions.
Collaborate with software engineers and other team members to integrate hardware and software components.
Test and validate hardware designs through prototype development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Perform thorough analysis and documentation of hardware designs, including specifications, schematics, and test plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the hardware development process.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware engineering and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source components and materials for hardware production.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production and assembly of hardware systems.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of hardware engineering processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in hardware design and development, preferably in the consumer electronics or telecommunications industry.
Proficient in hardware design tools and software, such as schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, signal processing, and power electronics.
Familiarity with industry standards and protocols, such as USB, HDMI, Ethernet, and wireless communication protocols.
Experience with testing and validation techniques for hardware systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex hardware issues.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
