Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with production teams to understand operational requirements and provide timely support.
Conduct tests and measurements to identify potential issues and implement necessary adjustments or replacements.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies related to industrial machinery and equipment.
Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary parts and equipment.
Requirements:
Extensive experience (5 years or more) as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in industrial machinery and equipment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues.
In-depth understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical information.
