Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Maintenance Mechanics (Specialized) to join a team in the Netherlands. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and optimization of specialized machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background and expertise in specific areas such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance techniques. Candidates from Asia with relevant experience and a desire to work in the Netherlands are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on specialized machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and develop appropriate solutions.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Collaborate with external vendors for equipment servicing and repairs when necessary.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations.
Train and mentor junior mechanics, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic (Specialized) or similar role.
Expertise in one or more specialized areas such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Solid understanding of preventive maintenance techniques.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or apprenticeship in a relevant field is preferred.
Additional certifications or training in specialized systems or equipment are a plus.
