As a Refrigeration Mechanic Highly Qualified Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of refrigeration systems, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various refrigeration systems, including but not limited to commercial refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, and HVAC units.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and motors.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical difficulties in a timely manner.
Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures while performing all tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, repairs made, and time taken.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to address and resolve complex refrigeration issues.
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and industry best practices.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians when required.
Comply with all applicable regulations and codes related to refrigeration systems and environmental protection.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of various refrigeration systems, components, and their functions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex refrigeration issues.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for accurate fault detection.
Excellent understanding of refrigeration safety protocols and regulations.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., EPA 608 Universal, refrigeration trade license) are highly desirable.
